Job Description
Barclays is hiring a Software Engineer in Pune to take part in the evolution of its digital landscape, delivering its technology stack and using strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and deliver quality solutions, working with fellow engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Deliver technology stack solutions using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work on complex technical problems requiring detailed analysis, in conjunction with engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned tools and frameworks
Adhere to secure coding practices and effective unit testing practices

Requirements
Good hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting and/or Python programming
Exposure to databases such as Oracle and open-source databases
Hands-on experience with moderate-level solution design based on raw requirements
Deep awareness of IT security, controls, and governance
Valued: Machine Learning model development experience, Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS) and DevOps
