Job Description
Virtusa is hiring an Infrastructure Management Associate (0-2 years) at its HYD Campus, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate has strong Java knowledge and supports infrastructure management processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
Develop and implement scripts and tools using Java to automate infrastructure tasks
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
Participate in planning and execution of infrastructure projects; document processes and configurations

Requirements
Strong knowledge of Java programming
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases)
Familiarity with troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques; ability to work collaboratively
Preferred: cloud services (AWS, Azure), scripting (Python, Bash), DevOps practices and tools
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
