Job Description
Virtusa is hiring a Software Testing Engineer with a foundation in Generative AI (0-2 years) in Hyderabad (PCS HYD). The role ensures the quality and performance of software products through rigorous testing, using Generative AI tools to enhance testing processes.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications
Use Generative AI tools and techniques to enhance testing processes and test coverage
Identify, document and track defects using appropriate tools
Collaborate with development teams on requirements and quality feedback
Participate in code reviews; assist in automation of testing processes where applicable

Requirements
Strong knowledge of Generative AI concepts and applications
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
Familiarity with Python, Java or JavaScript
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred: automated testing frameworks, Agile methodologies, Git
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
