Job Description
Worldpay is hiring a Software Engineer I (SDET - Java, Selenium, API Testing) with 2-4 years of experience to join its WPG Billing and Invoicing team in Pune. This is a test-automation focused role, building and working with automation frameworks from scratch rather than feature development.
Responsibilities
Design/work with automation framework from scratch - Page Object Model design pattern with data-driven framework
Design testing strategy and define the approach
Write and execute automation test scripts; write and execute manual functional test cases
Report defects and traceability with tools like Jira
Collaborate with stakeholders and give demos

Requirements
2-4 years of hands-on experience in test automation
In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks for UI (Selenium) and API (SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured or Karate) using Core Java
Experience in an AWS/microservices testing environment
Expertise in Core Java (Java 8 and above)
Good experience in BDD/Agile methodology with Cucumber-based projects
Good testing framework knowledge like JUnit, TestNG
End-to-end automation experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins
Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, Rally, Confluence
