Job Description
Emerson is hiring a Software Engineer in Pune (On-site) within its Automation Solutions business, focused on software testing of HART, Foundation Fieldbus (FF), and PROFIBUS communication protocol-supported device descriptions (eDD) for usability, using DeltaV/AMS System and HH475.
Responsibilities
Software testing of HART, FF and PROFIBUS communication protocol supported eDD for usability aspect using DeltaV/AMS System and HH475
Software testing of HART, FF and PROFIBUS based field device integration with DeltaV/AMS System
Write test plans and log issues in the issue database
Communicate test metrics and status to the lead at periodic intervals

Requirements
Knowledge/experience of process field devices like Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure and Final Control devices like Control Valve
Knowledge/experience of industrial communication protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and Modbus
Knowledge/experience of Asset Management System (AMS/HH475) or Distributed Control System (DeltaV)
Good written and communication skills; good analytical and problem-solving ability
Preferred qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering (open to other engineering backgrounds with relevant device/protocol knowledge)
Knowledge/experience of industrial communication protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and Modbus
