Job Description

Red Hat is hiring Software Engineering Interns for its Global Engineering team in Pune and Bengaluru. Interns work alongside experienced mentors on real-world open-source software projects, gaining hands-on exposure to Linux, OpenShift, AI, and modern enterprise engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software using Python, Golang, or similar languages
Implement new features and debug issues for Red Hat products
Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and quality improvement activities
Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and global engineering teams

Requirements

Final-year Bachelor's student in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and one language (Python, Golang, or similar)
Good written and spoken English communication skills
Must be authorized to work without current or future visa sponsorship
