Job Description
Apple's IS&T Retail Engineering team is hiring a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test in Bengaluru to contribute to design, analysis, and certification of applications, testing Web, API, and iOS/iPadOS native applications across Apple's retail systems.
Responsibilities
Create test cases, test plans, and strategy based on product requirements, user journeys, and technical designs
Execute exploratory, functional, end-to-end, regression, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QE engineers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
Investigate test failures and product defects, performing root-cause analysis with developers
Use GenAI tools to improve software testing productivity

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
1-2 years of experience in software quality engineering
Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright/Selenium, Appium
Experience testing Web, API, and iOS/iPadOS native applications
Experience using GenAI tools for quality engineering tasks
