Job Description
Barclays is hiring a Test Engineer (Analyst level) for Global Payments in Pune, helping evolve its infrastructure and deployment pipelines with a focus on quality.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance and user experience
Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and define acceptance criteria
Root cause analysis of defects, working with developers on resolution
Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality

Requirements
Payments domain knowledge on Global PayPlus (GPP)
BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin
SQL and database validation; Unix/Linux command line
GitLab; JIRA and Agile delivery practices
Valued: Connect Direct, Java, Selenium, MQ/middleware and integration testing
