Job Description
Barclays is hiring an Application Developer (Analyst level) in Pune to help evolve its infrastructure and deployment pipelines, building and managing robust, scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks and tools
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers and other engineers to define requirements
Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
Adhere to secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing practices

Requirements
Good hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting and/or Python programming
Working experience with databases such as Oracle and open-source ones
Hands-on experience with moderate-level solution design from raw requirements
Deep awareness of IT security, controls and governance
Valued: machine learning model development, Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS) and/or Microsoft, Financial Crime domain experience
