Job Description

Siemens Industry Software is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer - Quality Engineering & Test Automation in Maharashtra to build and maintain infrastructure, automation, and tooling that enable reliable software quality across its applications. The role blends infrastructure engineering, test automation, scripting, and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and improve automated testing solutions and automation pipelines
Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux QC environments
Develop reusable scripts, utilities, and custom tooling to improve QC productivity
Investigate application, automation, and infrastructure issues using structured root-cause analysis
Own critical environments and services, including licensing, monitoring, and incident resolution

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
Hands-on experience with test automation and scripting in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Shell
Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus
