Job Description
Siemens is hiring a Senior AI Engineer across several global locations including Bangalore and Pune to design and ship end-to-end AI solutions - RAG pipelines, LLM-based applications, and agentic workflows - that improve Siemens processes and products. The role brings production-grade engineering practices to AI development.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions including RAG pipelines, LLM applications, and agentic workflows
Bring production-grade practices to AI: clean code, testing, CI/CD, containerization, and MLOps/LLMOps
Lead initiatives from concept to deployment, translating business requirements into scalable solutions
Collaborate with an international team of engineers, product managers, and domain experts
Mentor colleagues and share reusable patterns and reference architectures

Requirements
5+ years in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science roles
Strong programming skills in Python; additional strength in TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or Go is a plus
Experience with LLM-based systems: prompt design, RAG architectures, vector search, and evaluation
Experience with cloud-native development (Azure/AWS/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, and Git-based collaborative engineering
Strong programming skills in Python; additional strength in TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or Go is a plus
