Job Description
Kaleris, an Atlanta-headquartered supply chain execution software company, is hiring an Associate Software Engineer - Intern in Chennai. You'll contribute to next-generation transportation and logistics software for the marine industry, working across the full stack within an Agile team.
Responsibilities
Join an Agile team coordinating with a Product manager, lead developer, and QA lead
Create new product features for global customers using test-driven development
Work on every level of the stack, frontend to backend
Take end-to-end ownership of your part of the functionality
Participate in the full development life cycle from definition and design to product

Requirements
BE or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
Proven object-oriented programming skills with Java and/or C++
Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
Strong knowledge of design patterns and data structures
Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Preferred: broader Java/JEE stack (JDBC, JMX, JPA, JMS), HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, app servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss), REST APIs, Spring
