Job Description
Brillio is hiring an Associate Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru within its Digital Engineering team. This entry-level role (up to 2 years of experience) focuses on Java backend development with exposure to microservices architecture.
Responsibilities
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on scalability and performance
Assist in analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical solutions
Write efficient, testable code following best practices and organizational standards
Support troubleshooting and resolution of production and environmental issues with QA and support teams
Engage in agile development processes, contributing to grooming user stories and sprint planning

Entry-level role with up to 2 years of experience in Java backend development, including exposure to microservices architecture
Java programming and Spring Boot framework
SQL databases such as MySQL or Oracle
Version control systems (Bitbucket or GitLab) and build tools (Maven)
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and development of RESTful APIs
Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Hibernate
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Java programming and Spring Boot framework
SQL databases such as MySQL or Oracle
