Job Description
Celonis is hiring a Software Backend Engineer in Bangalore with Java expertise to support its on-premise Process Mining application and its migration path to the Celonis Platform SaaS solution. The role covers full product lifecycle ownership, reliability improvements, and mentoring teammates.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the full on-premises product lifecycle: investigating, implementing, building, and delivering
Support and maintain project stability and security, update dependencies, implement new standards
Increase the reliability of the software continuously
Support on-premises customers in their path to migrating to the cloud-based Celonis Platform
Mentor teammates and help define an inclusive engineering culture

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience
Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks
Experience working on microservices-based distributed systems
Strong understanding of complex data structures and algorithms
