Job Description
Equifax is hiring a Software Engineer (Entry level) in Pune within its Technology team. The role involves designing requirements for small systems or modules, applying modern software development practices, and working across teams to integrate systems with corporate product platforms.
Responsibilities
Design requirements on small systems or modules of medium-scale systems, with technical documentation
Apply basic principles of software engineering and provide feedback on release/code/design review
Apply modern software development practices: serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code
Work across teams to integrate systems with existing corporate product platforms
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions
Participate in a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science/Math/Computer
1+ year experience with Java software programming
Experience with backend technologies such as Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA and Microservices
Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, XP)
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
Experience with Atlassian tooling (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub)
6 months+ experience with Cloud technology (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is a plus
1+ year experience with Java software programming
Experience with backend technologies such as Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA and Microservices
Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, XP)
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
Experience with Atlassian tooling (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub)
6 months+ experience with Cloud technology (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is a plus
