Job Description

Amazon's Retail Business Services (RBS) team is looking for a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions that power catalog and supply-chain defect resolution. You'll work with large datasets, AWS tooling, and ML-driven teams to keep Amazon's product catalog accurate and reliable.

Responsibilities

Implement real-time and batch data ingestion routines using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT
Design and operate large-scale, high-performance data systems for analysis and data science
Translate business requirements into scalable, flexible data architecture
Collaborate with engineers on data integrity, testing, and documentation standards

Requirements

1+ years of data engineering experience
Experience with SQL and one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, HiveQL)
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Experience with a scripting language such as Python
