Job Description
Zycus is hiring AI-Native Java Engineer Graduate Trainees in Bangalore for its 2026 passout programme, working on Merlin AI, its agentic AI engine powering autonomous Source-to-Pay workflows. Trainees build backend applications with Java and Spring Boot while learning AI-assisted development practices.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build REST APIs and microservices under guidance of experienced engineers
Use AI tools to assist in coding, debugging, testing, and documentation
Work with databases, data models, and application integrations
Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions

Requirements
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field, graduating in 2026
Minimum 80% or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, and BE/B.Tech with no active backlogs
Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms, OOP, DBMS, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks
Good programming skills in Java; familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, and Git
