Detailed Instructions

Encode and decode URL text with multiple encoding modes. Standard mode (encodeURIComponent) encodes all special characters except alphanumerics and - _ . ! ~ * ' ( ). URI mode (encodeURI) preserves URL structure characters like :/?#[]@!$&'()*+,;=. Form Data mode converts spaces to + signs for application/x-www-form-urlencoded format. Includes character encoding reference showing common character conversions (space → %20, # → %23, & → %26, etc.). Real-time encoding as you type with character count display. Decode encoded URLs back to readable text with one click. Copy encoded text or paste from clipboard. Perfect for URL parameters, query strings, API requests, and form data encoding.
