Job Description
Oracle is hiring a Support Engineer 1 in Bengaluru to serve as a point of contact for customers, providing technical support by troubleshooting and resolving issues with assigned Oracle products, and coordinating with more experienced peers on design, reliability, and maintenance issues.
Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for customers, fielding inquiries via phone, electronic, or in-person means
Provide technical support by answering questions and troubleshooting/resolving simple issues
Research, re-create, and test technical issues to identify resolutions, with minimal guidance
Follow up with customers on service requests and escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams
Document activities on service requests and learn to create Knowledge Base articles and troubleshooting guides
Leverage automation/tooling (e.g., AI Assistance) to discover root causes of common issues
