Job Description
Zscaler is hiring a Staff Software Development Engineer in Bangalore (hybrid) for its AI Security department. The engineer will own features end-to-end across the full stack, from React UI to Spring Boot microservices to cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
Build full-stack features across React UI, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes
Design REST APIs and event-driven Kafka services within a microservices architecture
Own features end-to-end, including logging, observability, and cross-functional collaboration with UX and PM

Requirements
5+ years of software development experience building enterprise-grade solutions
Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot; strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with ReactJS and state management libraries
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs in a microservices architecture
Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
Familiarity with containerized deployments on Kubernetes and core AWS services
Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies
Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot; strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with ReactJS and state management libraries
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs in a microservices architecture
Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
Familiarity with containerized deployments on Kubernetes and core AWS services
Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies
