Persistent Systems is hiring a Java Architect - Security to define secure, scalable Java-based microservices architectures across its Pune, Bangalore, Noida, and Gurgaon locations. The role establishes security standards for OAuth/JWT-based authentication and guides engineering teams through solution design.
Responsibilities
Define end-to-end architecture for secure, scalable Java-based microservices applications
Design and govern authentication and authorisation solutions using OAuth and JWT
Establish architecture principles, coding standards, and security best practices for Java/Spring Boot services
Design secure REST APIs and service-to-service communication patterns
Mentor development teams through architecture reviews and technical documentation

Requirements
11 to 16 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot application architecture
Proven expertise designing enterprise microservices architectures
Deep understanding of OAuth-based authentication and JWT implementation in distributed applications
Strong knowledge of API security, identity integration, and role-based access control
Experience with AWS and DevOps practices for scalable, resilient systems
