Job Description
Pearson is hiring a Software Engineering Intern (Frontend) in Bengaluru for its Global Payroll Technology team, working on the next-generation Global Command Center enterprise platform that brings together payroll operations, analytics, automation, and AI-powered insights. Duration: 3-6 months.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Build reusable and responsive UI components
Create dashboards, reports, and operational views
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders

Requirements
Currently pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, or IT
Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Basic knowledge of React and understanding of REST APIs and JSON
Preferred: TypeScript, Git and GitHub, responsive web design
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
